Women Leaders: The better half for building a better planet

In 2017, when global leaders congregated to pledge allegiance to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in an attempt to create a new world order which is inclusive, low carbon, and just, achieving gender equality also, became a crucial goal.

• A report titled, Better Leadership, Better World released by WomenRising2030 advocates that women's leadership in business is crucial for driving substantial economic opportunities and better business performance.

  The report identifies six leadership competencies that women leaders can deploy better within gender-balanced teams. These competencies are critical to developing concrete business opportunities in line with the SDGs: Innovation, collaboration, long-term thinking.
